Title: Marlin Sighting - MakoMyDay
Post by: Charles Oltman on November 27, 2017, 03:11:38 PM
Happy post Thanksgiving, I was out enjoying the water last Wednesday about 4 miles off the point and was shocked to see a marlin jump in front of me.  I pulled up next to it per the photos but of course I wasn't fishing and had no bait or rods rigged.  I quickly put on a troll rig and scoured the area but no go.  I am assuming this was a striped marlin but have only caught them in Cabo so not an expert.  Looked to be a decent size.  Anyway, thought you marlin guys would be interested to know they are around and close!!
