Artificial lures only. No baited hooks or lures for this first tournament.
You are allowed to chum with bait but only fish caught on artificial lures will count.
If you're bringing a guest, please let us know and reply to this thread who you're bringing prior to lines in for the tournament.
Good luck!

Hello DAC Members,
This message is to clarify the rule to submit weigh slips within 5 days for the Artificial Tournament.
All DAC and IGFA angling rules apply. DAC Anglers and Guests are allowed to submit multiple weigh slips during this tournament, however only (1) place per angler will be allowed, from your single highest point total fish.
All weigh slips must be submitted via the website or postmarked within 5 days of the catch.
Thanks,
Bob Waters

Updated tournament flyer - We are trying to keep you all up to date on latest catches during tournaments, 1st fish catches, big tuna, bill fish counts, etc. Weigh slips have to be turned in within 5 days of catches to count toward tournaments, awards, 1st flags, trophies, etc. We prefer online weigh slips because they save time. If you want, you can mail weigh slip to PO Box or directly to Fish Chairman, Bob Waters. If you're on an extended fishing trip you can email or text Bob a copy too.
Good luck on this first tournament of the season.

Hey Scott, so I wanna clarify so when you say an artificial but no lures, you mean any any kind of unit that is using a skirt
-
John,
Any IGFA legal artificial bait or lure. No bait on your hooks but you are allowed to chum.
Good luck,
Scott

With the 5 day weigh slip entry, is it 5 days from catch date or 5 days at end of tournament? just trying to clarify for those multiday tournaments...

Congratulations to the Winners! Nice to see some new names up there... I think that means Bill gets a Rod?

Hi Jeff,
Yes, Bill has earned the first place custom rod.
Thank you so much for your generous donation to DAC to fund this award.
Many thanks go out to Jeff Hollenbeck for his work creating the custom rods. He is a master at his craft.
Bob Waters.
