2018 Master Angler Billfish Tournament Teams

Start planning for the MABT.  As of August 20, 2018, I have calculated the points according to the DAC yearbook rules and determined the teams to look SOMETHING like this:

Team #1:
Hooked
Wild Bill
Tunacious Too
Jefe/Blackfin

Team#2:
Royal Slam
So Glassy
Shared Dream
A Real Dream

Team #3:
Teaser (as alternate)


The basic points calculation is based on a simple formula of one point per marlin released over the past two seasons plus a bonus point for each marlin released during the MABT itself over those same two years.  An additional point for each marlin released this year up to two weeks before tournament time. 

We can (and will) switch things around based on creating a team that will most benefit the DAC.

Hey DAC Teams,   can't guarantee that I will have my mystery leak fixed in time for the Master's, so Teaser will be an alternate if I get it diagnosed and fixed.  That being said Dave Herrera will fish on Wild Bill.  Mike Hulsey said he would like to crew on a Master's Boat for DAC.  Bill Paddock probably would as well.  I'm feeling better everyday and if I don't fish Teaser, I'd like to fish with someone as well....
